anciens et les plus ancr\u00e9s de Navarre. Son \u00e9glise, joyau de l\u2019architecture romane, abrite un magnifique antependium d\u2019\u00e9maux, chef-d\u2019\u0153uvre de l\u2019orf\u00e8vrerie europ\u00e9enne du XIIe si\u00e8cle. Sa premi\u00e8re sortie eut lieu \u00e0 l\u2019occasion de la cons\u00e9cration de la cath\u00e9drale de Pampelune en 1127. Depuis lors, elle se rend fid\u00e8lement dans la ville le mardi de la deuxi\u00e8me semaine de P\u00e2ques.  <\/p><p class=\"p1\">San Miguel, qui porte sur sa t\u00eate la Croix du Salut, nous apporte chaque ann\u00e9e l\u2019annonce de la R\u00e9surrection du Christ et nous offre la b\u00e9n\u00e9diction de Dieu sur nos vies, nos familles et notre travail.<\/p><p class=\"p1\">Le reste de l\u2019ann\u00e9e, l\u2019image de l\u2019Ange d\u2019Aralar pr\u00e9side le sanctuaire de San Miguel in Excelsis, l\u2019un des plus anciens de Navarre (IXe si\u00e8cle), joyau artistique de premier ordre et t\u00e9moin de la foi et de la d\u00e9votion exprim\u00e9es au fil des si\u00e8cles par des milliers et des milliers de p\u00e8lerins venus jusqu\u2019\u00e0 ses portes pour recevoir le r\u00e9confort, le pardon et la gr\u00e2ce de Dieu. En 2019, 71 300 personnes sont entr\u00e9es dans le sanctuaire. <\/p><p class=\"p1\">Les murs mill\u00e9naires de ce temple abritent un joyau exceptionnel qui, \u00e0 lui seul, m\u00e9riterait d\u2019attirer tout visiteur : le retable \u00e9maill\u00e9 de Sainte-Marie, chef-d\u2019\u0153uvre de l\u2019art m\u00e9di\u00e9val, r\u00e9alis\u00e9 sp\u00e9cialement pour ce sanctuaire par les meilleurs orf\u00e8vres et \u00e9mailleurs de Limoges du XIIe si\u00e8cle.
